While completing a doctorate in Ethnology and Social Anthropology at the E.H.E.S.S. and writing her thesis on "The black South African working class condition through the musical performances of migrant workers", she took part in the Résidence d'écriture de films documentaire de Lussas. The following year, she attended a documentary filmmaking workshop at the Ateliers Varan, where she directed Juliette et le plus-que-parfait. Alongside the films she makes, her activities are various: sound engineer for shows, location manager on shoots, volunteer for the NGO Women for Peace in South Africa, etc. She is, or has been, a trainer in documentary filmmaking and film development in different institutions: with the residents of a district of Montreuil, at the École de la deuxième chance, at secondary school for Cinémas Indépendants Parisiens, for the Association Entraides, etc. Since 2012, she has been supervising filmmaking workshops at the Ateliers Varan, of which she is a member. She is also an active member of the Bus du Caravansérail company and Cinéma Numérique Ambulant.
