The workshop
In 1983, a workshop is set up with the idea being to establish links with the Lap community, in danger of having to adopt a sedentary lifestyle after the Chernobyl disaster. A second workshop is organized in 1985 with African trainees.
The programme
In 1983, a workshop was set up at the Social Sciences Department of Tromsoe University, the idea being to establish links with the Lap community, in danger of having to adopt a sedentary lifestyle after the Chernobyl disaster.
In 1985, a second session took place with students from various African countries, with the financial support of N. O. R. A. D. (Norwegian International Development Agency) and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Department of Sociology was still carrying out its filmmaking activities in 2000.
