Below The Boulevard - Duoi Dai Lo

A disabled Veteran of the Republic regime of Vietnam has found another soul who is as broken as him. They form a family, having a beautiful child, making their home on a boat off Saigon riverbank right next to a hectic urban area. The father was a soldier of the former regime and heavily disabled during the war. Haunted by the war, he is still thankful for their present peaceful life on the old boat with basic living conditions. Their only comfort in the midst of all the harshness and struggles is the hope for a better future for their little girl.
