At twilight

The film takes place on a lay-by on a motorway as night falls or when dawn is breaking. At twilight. In this half-light, vague silhouettes haunt the area and make out. Nobody knows where they come from nor where they’re going. That’s not the important thing but what matters is what they share at that precise moment, in this precise non-space. They’re close. They’re vulnerable, they’re at once alone and together: a motionless epic.
